RIP Nathaniel Dye (1985-2026)
It is with great sadness that we saw the passing of our conductor, Nat, in January 2026.

He has been an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed.

A huge thank you from all the band to Andy. He kindly bridged the gap between Nat’s passing and the arrival of our new conductor, Ed, and kept everything running smoothly in the meantime. Andy has also been a fantastic support for the band and Nat in the past few years, stepping in as a conductor when needed.
We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and good humour he brought to every rehearsal. Andy’s support meant a great deal to us during a difficult period. We look forward to seeing you in our bass trombone chair in our next concert!

Welcome to Pavilion Brass
Pavilion Brass is a non-competitive brass band in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
We meet each Thursday from 8pm - 10pm for rehearsals at Chadwell Heath Baptist Church.

The band perform regularly in Barking and Dagenham and surrounding areas and is available for bookings throughout the year.
​
We play a wide variety of musical genre from traditional Brass Band Music to the pop world and popular hits from stage to screen. We are happy to work with you to plan a programme of entertainment to suit your occasion.

We always welcome new players so if you play a brass instrument and are interested in joining a fun and friendly band, then we would love to hear from you!
We are a non-contesting band based in Chadwell Heath and rehearse in the Baptist Church on the High Street on Thursday evenings from 8.00 pm - 10.00 pm.
We have vacancies (see our Musicians and vacancies page) but all players are very welcome. Contact us for more information and to organise a try out session.
