Supporting Saint Francis Hospice

Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity and one of the largest adult hospices in the UK. Their team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and a range of other health and social care professionals provide care and support to individuals with a life-limiting illness, as well as their carers and family members, completely free of charge.

Saint Francis Hospice serve the growing populations of Havering, Brentwood, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and West Essex and, with only a small percentage of their funding coming from the government, they are always grateful of any support to help them to continue to do vital work in our community completely free of charge.

We held our first concert in aid of Saint Francis Hospice in 2016.  It was a huge success with many people attending to listen to our programme of popular music.

The addition of Ballroom Dancers Mia and Jack from Steps Ahead Dance Academy in 2017 performing a Cha-cha-cha added that 'strictly' feel and excitement to the night.

To this date the concerts are hugely successful! With a programme made up of popular pieces from stage, screen, the pop world and even forays into opera, there is something to suit all tastes.  It regularly features special guests and always end on a "Last night of the proms" style spectacular with lots of flag waving and singing from the audience.
